why do you need a mobile website?
More and more people every day are getting smart phones and using them to search on the interweb. And if you are a local business owner, like a plumber or florist or vet, a mobile phone is used more than a normal computer to search on Google and this is only going to increase.
If a potential customer visits your site on their mobile and it isn’t optimised, can you guess what would most likely happen? They would back out and go to one of your competitors that does have a one. Have you done this yourself?

Here at interwebery we actually produce both kinds, but we are partial to the dedicated site. Our own mobile version of this website is a static design.
Choosing between the two is normally a simple one, if you have a website currently that doesn’t look good on a mobile device, and you are not upgrading that at the time, then a dedicated site is the only real option for you.
Revamping your online presence entirely will give you the option of the two and there are pro’s and con’s for both, but most of the time, it is 50/50 which way you go.
